The Restaurant les Platanes has 3 generations of culinary experience behind it. The restaurant comprises 3 dining rooms one of which was completely refurbished in 2014 where one can sample some of the finest traditional dombiste dishes.
Opened in 1945 in a disused railway station the Restaurant les Platanes proposes a cuisine that is both traditional and very tasty. Chef and proprietor Serge Malapel offers lovers of fine food a culenery voyage through the heart of Dombes & Saône with such tempting dishes as frog’s legs in parsley sauce, fillet of carp, chicken à la crème, crayfish stew, fois-gras à la maison and game according to the seasons.
