The Letter from Physalis

My dear friends,

Thank you so much for your help. Thanks to you, our plan succeeded: when you entered the secret code, the gates of the city opened, and I was able to escape without being noticed by the guards.

As planned, the carriage was waiting for me. By the time you read this letter, I will already be far away, on my way to the port of Rochefort. I will embark with my idols Philibert Commerson and Jeanne Barret for a long journey. The ship waiting for me is called the Etoile. I do not know its route, but I already know that it will take me to all continents and all oceans. This will give me the opportunity to discover countless wonderful plants that no one here in Châtillon knows!

This will be the first time I will be so far from this small town and even the first time I will board a ship… I am scared, but the promise of adventures to come gives me courage.
