VISIT - “Château du Moulin-à-Vent, a history of terroirs!"

A benchmark estate since 1732, Château du Moulin-à-Vent lies at the heart of the appellation of the same name. Nestling among the vines, it houses a chapel at its heart. Situated on the emblematic "Thorins" terroir from which it inherits its name, it is the former crossroads of the hamlet,
and was incorporated into the estate at the end of the 19th century.

What better place to enjoy a unique Moulin-à-Vent experience than here, a place steeped in the history of the appellation's terroirs? The 23 parcels of land worked by the estate are located within a 300-metre radius of the Chapelle: each of them is expressed in our parcel-based cuvées.
Available for tasting, they allow you to grasp the essence of the Moulin-à-Vent terroirs, through their nuances and depths.

La Chapelle is also a unique and rare opportunity to taste more mature wines. Convinced that time is a beautiful thing, we keep part of each vintage harvested in the Château's cellars, a testimony to the history of the estate and its development.
A few bottles of these old vintages are available in the Chapel.

Finally, La Chapelle offers a complete immersion into the life of the estate. The tours take you from the adjoining vineyards to the age-old cellar; as you pass through the doors of the vat room, you may well meet the cellar master and witness the making of our wines,
sublimated by fine, delicate vinification and ageing methods.
