Châtillon takes shape
Contemplate our beautiful medieval city of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne from a different perspective and learn to draw it with the help of artist and illustrator Orianne Amiot.
Sketch with pastels or charcoal the Halles, the Old Castle, or the Jardin des Simples. Depending on the weather and your desires, Orianne will guide you through Châtillon and help with your drawing. Perspectives, vanishing points, and architectural details will reveal themselves to you, along with your drawing talents!
You will leave with your sketches and a unique experience. Open to everyone. Those who think they don’t like or don’t know how to draw are welcome! All materials are provided.

On Saturday mornings, find the traditional market of Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne under the Halles, stock up on good products and have a picnic at Clos Janin, at the Prés Gaudet pond, or at the Arboretum before your drawing outing!
