Discover

Domaine de Vernange

On this site in the heart of the Dombes, walkers can discover the diversity of Dombes landscapes: the domain includes several ponds and wetlands associated with wooded and agricultural areas. An observatory allows for bird watching in this type of environment.

What to see at

Domaine de Vernange ?

Labeled in June 2016 for its landscape qualities and remarkable biodiversity, the ENS “Domaine de Vernange” is located in the communes of Saint-André-de-Corcy, Monthieux, and Civrieux.
Covering an area of 108 hectares, the Vernange estate encompasses the typical agro-system of the Dombes.

An observatory allows walkers to discover the fauna. Additionally, throughout the year, guided walks are organized by the Tourist Office to learn more about both the pond and the surrounding forest.
