11.6 km Walk
The start is from the parking lot on Chemin du Pré de la Ville.
Stage 1
Upon leaving the parking lot, take the Main Street towards the village center.
At the Restaurant du Parc, turn right onto Route du Plantay and continue straight.
At the exit of the village, turn right onto Route de Saint-Nizier and continue for about 2 km.
At the intersection with Chemin de Leva, turn right towards Étang le Plat.
Stage 2
Cross the D904, head towards Étangs Cuiron and Morlan, and continue straight towards Grange Chazey.
Stage 3
Pass Grange Chazey until the hamlet of Le Rognard. Turn right and stay on the asphalt road.
Continue straight. On the right, there will be a beautiful panorama of Girardier pond. At Route de la Claudine, turn right and continue straight, crossing the D22b. Continue for about 2 km.
Stage 4
At Grange Marchand, take the dirt road to the right.
Pass by Étang Merlan, offering a beautiful view of Joyeux castle, and continue to reach between the Buchillin and Chapelier ponds.
At the intersection, turn left and continue on Chemin de la Tuilière.
When you reach the village, take Route de Meximieux to the left and return to the starting point.
