Walking Route in Dombes

Through fields and woods, discover manors, equestrian centers, and the Vavres pond with its ducks, swans, and extensive reed beds.
Every Sunday morning, find the producers’ market at the start of the hike.

12.5 km Walk
The start is from the parking lot of the Atelier 208.

Stage 1
From the parking lot, head to the roundabout. Continue on Allée des Marronniers to a second roundabout.

Stage 2
At the Les Millières signpost, turn right towards Les Quatre Marronniers. Follow this road to the signpost of the same name.
Continue straight towards Le Bellieux. After passing the equestrian center, continue right on the D2a for 500m.
(Be careful of traffic).

Stage 3
At the signpost, take the dirt road to the left towards the Vavres pond. Follow this path to the Le Bellieux castle, cross the departmental road, and continue straight. After 700m, the path leads to the thou of the Vavres pond.

Stage 4
At the Vavres Pond signpost, turn left and follow the dirt path.

Stage 5
At the signpost located at the intersection of several paths, turn left towards Les Roussières, then at the Moulin à vent, turn left again. Continue straight.

Stage 6
At the Les Roussières signpost, go straight towards Les Quatre Marronniers, then at the D2a, take this road to the right for about 200m.
At the intersection with a dirt road, take this path to the left and continue straight.

Stage 7
Arriving again at the Les Quatre Marronniers signpost, turn right towards Saint-André-de-Corcy and return to the starting point.
